Changes to Tistory monetization operation policy, AdSense Anchor and Offer wall Ads

AdSense has announced a significant update regarding its advertising settings. Anchor ads and offer wall ads will no longer be available for publishers using AdSense. 

Why Are Anchor Ads and Offer wall Ads Being Discontinued

This update stems from Tistory’s Policy Change, modifying its advertising policies and impacting AdSense users who have previously used these ad formats for monetization.

To ensure compliance with the updated policy, publishers must turn off anchor ads and offer wall ads before the enforcement date of June 1st.

How to Turn Off Anchor Ads in Auto Ads

1. Log in to your AdSense account.
2. Click Advertisements on the left panel.
3. Click the pencil icon next to your site.
4. Select Overlay Format under Ad Settings.
5. Disable Anchor Ads under the Format section.

How to Turn Off Offer wall Ads

1. Log in to your AdSense account.
2. Click Privacy and Messages in the left panel.
3. Click Manage in the Offer wall section.
4. Delete an offer wall message by either turning off the Post button or clicking the ⋮ button.
